The fluorescent lamps in LCDs are NOT user-replaceable. There should be no reason to change them ever! If there is a problem, call service.

IF you can screw into the studs you will have no problem

if you want extra protection, use spring wing nuts in the holes that do not hit a stud. get the wing nuts that are rated for like 30 pounds each

so in total use 4 wood screws into the studs (2 on left, 2 on right) and use 2-4 wing nuts in the middle and you will have no problem.

i have mounted 50" plasmas on sheetrock walls with only wood or metal studs this way

if you have space in the wall you should also run the wire inside the wall

check out home depot for wall plates with all the appropiate connections

makes for a nice clean look

Insignia 32" LCD television with lines in the screen. I have the warranty but they will not cover it. ?
This is from watching television from an antenna and the programs being broadcast in 4:3 ratio rather than 16:9. We have tried switching the aspect ratio but it doesn't do anything. What else can I do? We bought the extended warranty but they will not cover it. Any other suggestions of what this might be? There are dark lines, one on both sides about 2 inches in. Thanks.

the airline will accept it as checked baggage and u will have to pay excess baggage rates per kilo. yout free baggage allowence is only 20 kilos. over and above that u have to pay for every extra kilo. the rates can be checked from the airline on which u r travelling LON to mumbai. the customs in mumbai are definitely going to charges duty on this. i think it will be much cheaper if u buy one in India,

Most people don't realize it, BUT... finger joint studs are really better than ordinary wood studs.

IF you examine the finger joints, the combination of differing wood grain structure, AND the many small fingers, provides a stronger section than ordinary wood. The effect is similar to plywood which is much stronger, AND more stable relative to warping.

IF the TV is mounted on a properly sized support, or a properly/adequately designed shelf, which is adequately secured to TWO or more studs, then the assembly will be fine.
